Well our long looked forward to weekend has come and gone, and it was amazing. It was sooo awesome to be back in Dundee, and we have had 2 wonderful days of endless chatter, catching up 35 years, and endless laughter. Well done Isabel on your fantastic choice of venues, and Stella for finding all our classmates. Looking forward to the next one.  Kim Mackay Gouweloos

Mini Matric Re-union

Matric re-union fever began on Sunday 29 July 2012, as some of our classmates in the Pretoria area, decided to have a practice run at Wessel Enslin's place at Hartebeespoortdam.  Those who attended were Cobus vd Merwe, Isabel Holland-Muter  (Swanepoel), Leon and Christa (Swanepoel) Jordaan, Pieter-Jan Grabe, Tewus Wessels and Wessel Enslin, together with their spouses. Word has it that it was a resounding success.

Jeannette, Lourie, Mariaan and Danie December 2012 ended and 2013 began with  ‘mini-reunions” of DHS matrics.  These were held in the Cape Town area.   Jeannette, Mariaan, Lourie and Danie Verwey met at Dolphin Beach Hotel in Blouberg. That was the first time in 35years that they saw Danie and Mariaan and they enjoyed much laughter and fun.   Danie is a real treat.   Jeanette, Isabel and Isabel’s husband Les, also had lunch with Mariaan and Basie at their Vredenheim Farm in Stellenbosch.   Then a braai at Mariaan’s but Danie couldn’t make it.   Another   braai was held at Lourie’s house.   That was so awesome
